Tonight when I was heading to a small handbell concert and was about 20 miles from home, my exhaust system failed. It wasn’t the muffler; instead, it was up by the engine. And MAN! was it loud! I had to drive a couple more miles to get to where we were playing, and then when it was over drive about 25 miles back home, with a Dodge Neon sounding more like a couple of Harleys!

Tomorrow morning I’ll have to take it in somewhere. Good thing my normal Monday schedule has the morning off. I work at the Reference Desk on Monday nights, until 10pm, so I don’t have to go in to work until after 1:00! We’ll see what happens with the car.
