Many of you know that I’ve been running an email list called Pfitz’s Pfunnies for a while now. It’s actually been over 6 years. I send out a tasteful-yet-humorous joke or story every business day. That’s usually Monday through Friday, but not on holidays or sometimes when I’m out of town. :-)

Anyway, after 6 1/2 years, Pfitz’s Pfunnies is moving to Google Groups from Yahoo! Groups. The archives will still be there at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Pfunnies/, but new pfunnies will no longer be sent to that list.

The new URL is http://groups.google.com/group/pfunnies. If you are interested in signing up for these “pfunnies,” just visit the site and click “Join” over on the left.

Google Groups allow you to search (with that standard Google search box) all the groups that are publicly available, as well as all UseNet groups. When you find a post you like, it’s incredibly easy to subscribe to that group if you like. You can also set up “Alerts,” which will let you know when any group (UseNet, etc.) posts a message with your search terms in it. Pretty cool!

I hope you enjoy the new format and the ability to “Google-search” the entire archives of Pfitz’s Pfunnies, subscribe to RSS feeds, and more.
