This afternoon we attended a “Sundae Sunday” at Arthur J. Brown Charter Academy, the school that Alaric and Blaise will be attending starting tomorrow. Their school year runs August 8 - May 26 and the days are 7:30 to 3:30. As I understand it, the class periods are longer, so there’s more time for the various subjects.

One of the teachers we met today will be Alaric’s Science teacher. She just graduated from Cornerstone a year or two ago! We both thought the other looked familiar, and when I mentioned we’d just moved from Michigan she said she had too. It’s always interesting to find small world things in life. Kinda cool!
